Fourplay Friday Volume 56

Minimal, that’s what this weekend will bring me. Relaxing minimal activities, personal reflection and me time. Not every weekend has to be no stop party. So to commence this minimal weekend here is a minimal Friday Fourplay, or at least as minimal as my melodic tastes will allow.

First up we have Los Angeles based MOONZz and her debut original single, “Satisfy”
Having already having worked with the likes of KRNE, Dr. Fresch, Brasstracks, Alexander Lewis, David Heartbreak, Luca Lush, AWE, Attom, Prince Fox, JNTHN STEIN, Patriot, and many many more. Check out the track and you’ll see why she’s so sought after.

Next up we have one of my favorite twosome SKULS with a look at the first track from their new EP, Lost Knowledge. This big release is due out on Plastician’s Terrorhythm on September 7. “Obsession” is spread sonically across several genres and if this is just the beginning I can’t wait for the rest of the EP.

Now we turn to Elk Road. This a producer I’ve always respected for following his own path. There is a certain features in his production that I can always identify as an Elk Road track. His melodies are always smooth and tracks always have the right groove and this is no different.

Last but not least we have PLS&TY bring up his latest remix. This time he turned to Genevieve’s “Colors”. The original of this caught a lot of attention a few months back. PLS&TY takes his signature synth work and breathes new life to it with a great supporting track to highlight the beautiful vocals from Genevieve.
