House Party

HouseParty8 Some house parties are wild and crazy and some get nice and deep. This weekend was filled with nice deep moments so here is a playlist of nice deep cuts to get you Monday cranking.

We kick it off with Slaptop’s “Remember”. He says, “Remember is dark and deep with a twinge of nostalgic playfulness. It’s about the limits and hopelessness of recollection and the eventual resignation of control over the way the future views the past.”

Next we have BAILE’s “Holdin” off of his new Matter EP. “Holdin” premiered on BBC Radio 1 w Pete Tong Friday. This celebratory four on the floor with a French house influenced bass line pushes Marie Kim’s vocals to the ceiling. Dare you not to dance.

Then Lane 8 remixes Walking Shapes, “In The Wake”, A poolside disco groover. Lane 8 graces his signature sparkle on the driving original creating a slow-building summer jam that is well worth the final payoff.

Moving on to Kulkid remixing Sebastian Carter. This was for the celebration of the first anniversary of Crosswalk Records who in collaboration with Believe Recordings, have released a compilation including past acts from the label and new comers they are getting on board for. Great compilation with exciting stuff on them.

Last but not least we have Lost Kings remixing Cazzette. They had a ton of fun remixing this track, experimented allot with it and it came out great. These guys keep busy so give them a follow to keep up with their constant hustling out of tunes.
