Khai Is Full Of Love

If you think you’ve heard of Khai your right. He’s been on some of our favorite tracks by Bronze Whale and Samuel Proffitt. Well now to get us ready for his first solo EP coming out on Octal Sound later this year, Khai is jumping in on a cover of Bijork’s “Full Of Love”.

Khai’s version is full of chill vibes and excellent production from the Nashville duo Gold Dash. While it continues on it’s melancholic, downtempo path for a while when it does drop it turns straight crunk. Khai’s vocals soar over the top with emotion, slight touches of tremolo, and a golden falseto that we have loved on his other collaborations. Overall I would put this in a chill out ambient downtempo category but the attention it demands and the surprise drop makes it into something that will catch your attention.

Khai comments, “I wanted to breath new life into a song dear to me before I release my debut, to remind myself why I’m in this. As soon as we started to lay this one down I knew I had found the perfect pair to collaborate with. Gold Dash met me every step of the way, and we came out with a great tune.”
