GravitasNot only is this compilation (get it HERE) jam packed with 4 boisterous and elegant tracks but it’s for a good cause as well. #Every90minutes denotes the slogan to beat ALS, and Gravitas is doing their best to help out and give back. That these tracks will blow your speakers combined with the fact that 100% of profit goes to ALS research is a lethal pair. Each track hits hard and leaves a lasting impression. The different genres and sounds on this compilation are an eclectic treat to the mind and to the ears.

You all know about Gravitas, and the dope work that they do, but you may not know much about theor partner in this compilation.  As for the #Every90Minutes part of the partnership:

Jay Smith, the Founder of music tech company Livid Instruments, started Every90Minutes after his own diagnosis with ALS earlier this year. The Foundation is dedicated to funding the most promising research and treatment for ALS, and provides an inspirational beacon for others affected by his disease. Apart from the “Beat ALS” compilation, Every90Minutes is working on a number of multifaceted initiatives to raise both funds and awareness for ALS. Support of each project directly furthers research to end this debilitating and ultimately fatal disease. Learn more at

To the music!  Below are 4 tunes to tease the entire 16 track collection and we know you’ll love.  So check the tunes and go support (HERE)!

Bassnectar – Ephemeral

This is one of the most notable tracks because it was created by the one and only Bassnectar. The driving force in this song is the melody that evolves and changes. Staying true to his name, Bassnectar has given us a bass line that drips in sweetness. The dichotomy of the graceful builds and in your face drops makes this song a jam that you won’t want to take off your speakers.

Dub FX – Don’t Give Up

“Don’t Give Up” may be the most unique song on the Beat ALS Compilation. With reggae influences, deep bass lines, and insatiably catchy lyrics this one is definitely special. The idea of not giving up and instilling people with hope is an awesome message, especially on such a special compilation.

Richie Hawtin – “The Tunnel”

Low droning tones and hard drums propel this Richie Hawtin track into a different universe. The song is deep and quick. As a whole, this song is nothing short of a journey. “The Tunnel” truly makes you feel as if your traveling through a dark tunnel of house goodness.

Psymbionic – Fever

Infused with disco, aggressive and poignant percussion “Fever” from Psymbionic is an absolute dance floor smash. This song pulls from so many different influences and genres that it makes your head spin. Excessive grooviness and down right filthy beats make this a true gem.
