Amplicity Rounds Out His Beat Skeet With Fire

BeatSkeetEarlier this week we dropped a tune from the homey Amplicity (HERE) and since then, as promised, he’s dropped his 4 other beats to complete his Beat Skeet series. Silly name, but serious tunes. Taking current songs and flipping them or using sample vocal snippets or even collabing with a vocalist and just bein an awesome beat maker. We haven’t had too many series like this where a week long of beats cover so much ground. Obviously he’s been workin on these tunes before the week ready to fire away at us all, but the release if you were following along has been awesome.

The tunes are all available for free download for just a quick like on his Facebook or if you haven’t copped the first tune in the series, you can cop it HERE as a part of our Exclusives release. But seriously, get on these tunes while you can. Amplicity (Soundcloud, Facebook) is only getting started.

The first tune, or Skeet#2 is a collab with a high school friend, Jared Martin (Soundcloud), which is one of those tunes that is a sexy and laidback vibe that would get anyone catching feels. It’s not for the faint of heart and if you aren’t at least contemplating calling your ex after this tune well then you have a dark heart.

Skeet#3 is a random beat he made at the beach before he started his shift selling ice cream on the beach. One of those mundane (and hot!) days that you suffer through on the regular, but when you have this type of ability, these days are a little less mundane.

The 3rd tune, or Skeet#4, is one of those tunes that starts out with a harp…yes, I said it…a harp. And using this harp instrumentation to weave in and out of a steady beat, and some vocal chops to round it out, we’ve got a dope soundtrack that you could eat a dank brunch to. Working with a few peoples in his circle including Evv, who we posted a few months ago (HERE) and some of the HeavyxMellow crew, this tune took on a life of its own and is quite fitting in this collection.

Then we have the last tune of the series. A tune that takes a very indie artist and song and turns it into something that fits the current landscape.  Using a beat that borders on juke and heavy bass that goes all the way to awesome, the vocals are repurposed for this remix and when you listen to the original you wonder how it could be the same tune.  Justin Cross is a singer songwriter who Amplicity met through a friend and the stems were sent and great work was done to them.  If you dig the indie vibes, give Cross a follow (Soundcloud, Twitter), yeah?
