heRobust Comin’ To Your Town

heRobust is coming to town, and I am stoked.  I’ve been lucky enough to see him play a few times in 2012, once in a festival setting (sharing a time slot with Baauer, which was a huge scheduling fail on the festival’s part) and once in support of some huge names in the glitch scene (Tipper, OPIUO and VibesquaD) and through it all his live set always seems to stick out.  Providing a more crunktastic offering than most of those acts following him, he’s always the one that gets the crowd sweaty and ready.  2012 saw heRobust as the opener, and 2013 is seeing him as the mid-show guy.  2013, though, we’ll start seeing heRobust as the headliner, right where he belongs.

I’ve said before how heRobust, Hayden Kramer of Miami by way of Atlanta, always has such a varied and diverse catalogue to choose from, and it keeps getting deeper.  His OG Status, and Rob & Hood EPs were always going to be the trap, funk goodness that we all hear in his BUSTED tunes, but let me tell you that the diversity I love his work for is about to rear its awesome head.   But until the relase of that newness from him, we have his live sets to experience.

So if you’re in Dallas, come see him at The House of Blues tomorrow with Big Gigantic and Psymbionic.  If you’re in any of the dates above that he hasn’t visited yet, make a point to go (git’yo tickets!). His shows are a guaranteed jump off.

Oh and you wouldn’t expect to have a heRobust post without some heRobust music, would you? Besides the mountains of tracks we’ve given you (I did say Mountains, right?), have at some of these gems we haven’t.  These tunes below showcase three albums you might not have known about as well as one of my all-time favorite BUSTED tracks of his. And since heRobust is giving a few of these albums away for free on his Official Site, it behooves you to get ’em and add them to your catalogue.
