CloZee, RIT and Bear//Face Continue The Chilled Wax

Well yesterday was quite cool, huh?  Hopefully those who have seen the Chilled Compilation have enjoyed thoroughly, but for those who haven’t yet, check out some more tracks from the same compilation to further whet the appetite.

Yesterday we featured two duo’s who have been producing and doing their thing for awhile, and today we have three artists who are just starting their journey.  The amazing thing isn’t that they’re so young, the amazing thing is that the music they have produced out of the gate is so very good!

So take a listen and come by our Facebook page to cop the album!

CloZee – Toulouse By Night (Waxhole Chilled Wax Vol. 1 Compilation) by Waxhole

The first artist you all know by now, and for good reason!  CloZee has been the blog’s standard bearer for awhile or at least ever since I found her sounds way back in April (HERE), thanks to the great Maya at NeuroPlastic Records who exposed me to the EP, CloZee is now a regular on the blog.  And not because she’s an awesome person, a humble and gracious musician, but because she makes fire whenever she releases anything.  Add in her working relationship with the guys at OcKe Films (example) and the winning never stops .  This submission highlights CloZee’s slow bass feel accentuated with her great guitar workings.  Lovely track from CloZee and we’d expect nothing less.

BearFace – Neffew [Instrumental] (Waxhole Chilled Wax Vol. 1 Compilation) by Waxhole

The next track is from  Bear//Face, 19 year old producer out of Belfast who was first featured on the blog (HERE) back inOctober and has since blown up.  And for good reason!  His Beat Tape EP coupled with a fantastic Justin Timberlake remix has cemented him in the list of those artists to keep an eye out for and get excited for any newness that drops.

RIT – Terminal Illness (Waxhole Chilled Wax Vol. 1 Compilation) by Waxhole

Then there’s RIT, whose first appearance was an explosion of greatness.  Introduced to us by another friend of the blog, LuQuS, RIT came at us with fire and hasn’t produced anything but goodness ever since.  Along with CloZee, RIT represents the great sounds from our friends in France and are just two examples of many.  Keep an eye out for the French scene.  Good stuff is bubbling up!
