Cheapshot gets Resurrected

It wouldn’t be a fulfilling week unless you had a new Cheapshot joint in your life. And since DJ Cheapshot is a man of the people, for the people and of the people, he’s obliged. For all of humanity’s sake, Cheapshot presents the classic and timeless Resurrection from when Common was Common Sense, a young and lithe indie rapper from Chicago. Now he’s Common, an actor, an activist and someone with massive commercial appeal.

This album, Resurrection, was on constant play when it came out and is still in heavy rotation. This along with Cheapshot’s last offering of The beatnuts is like he’s taking requests from me. Next he’ll be on some Pharcyde, or some Erick Sermon or maybe even some Mobb Deep. Whatever the case, he’s been doing the greatness for awhile now and this track is no different.

Enjoy the track, enjoy the Free Download and follow the man. It’s all so worth it.
